Despite being poorly bred, trained by a little known hanson carriage company, and failing the last six times he's tipped you into it, Up Da Boiz is a "monty" in race one at Scone tomorrow according to its "owner" Matt McKinnon, after receiving some third-hand "stable mail".

"They say she's burning up the track" said the 28 year old to anyone that would listen while he waited for his chai latte.

In a NAB companywide email titled "From the horses mouth- LOL" the Bank Teller implored colleagues to "smack a cheeky lobster on her", but cautioned them to "keep it hush hush, because we don't want it wound in."

Co-worker Adam Prentice was one of the first to take up McKinnon's offer of "practically free money" disbelieving the odds he was able to get.

"I must've been one of the first to get on… she was still showing fifties when I got her."

But not everyone was taking up the charitable offer, with Lending Officer Ben Wilson opting to "save his money", adding that when he had a wager on it "the thing was twenty lengths last".

"He carries on as if he rolled into the Magic Millions and bought it… but he's got five percent of a one tenth share so he owns about a strand of its mane."
