This is the biggest weekend in the Premier League so far, with four of the big 6 meeting each other in one action-packed, Sunday (it’s funny how often the random fixture computer does that). Chelsea vs Manchester United will be a tight tactical affair, with most of the goals being scored in the second half. Whereas Arsenal vs City has the look of another Arsenal humiliation: City are simply too good and I would be amazed if they didn’t score at least three. Here is how I see Week 11 going down:

Stoke vs Leicester
The Leicester players really know how to stick the knife into a manager: as soon as one gets sacked, they seem to pick up for a few games, before presumably falling out with him and going back to sulking in the corner. Stoke is equally unpredictable, meaning that this should actually be quite a good game: I am going for a 2-2 draw, although it could just as easily end up in a thrashing either way.

Huddersfield vs West Brom
These two teams have been quietly slipping down the table in recent, weeks and aside from Huddersfield’s shock win against United, they are winless in the past five games: a situation that will worry both managers. It is another tricky game to pick, which means that I am going to be about as interesting as watching a Man United match and go for a 1-1 draw.

Southampton vs Burnley
My boys at Burnley are doing me proud and are not far away from the left-field fourth that I said they would be a month ago. I love Sean Dyche and if any manager deserves a crack at a big job, it is him: perhaps he will get Everton, though I am not sure that fits into the big job category. I fancy him and Burnley continue to punch above their weight with another 1-0 victory.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth
This is a crucial month for both of these teams if they are not going to be dragged into a long and arduous relegation battle. Newcastle is well organized, but lack quality, while Bournemouth is almost the exact opposite. Thus, the romantic in me wants Bournemouth to win because I can’t stand Benitez’s stodgy, boring football: 2-1 Bournemouth.

Swansea vs Brighton
It looked as though Swansea were going to spring a surprise at the Emirates, until Arsenal weaseled their way to a 2-1 win, while Brighton continues to quietly and impressively go about their business. Both of these teams look like they will be closer to the bottom of the table than the top, though I am of the opinion that there are at least two worse teams than them in the league (I’m looking at you Palace and West Ham). This will be a tight affair that will be decided by a Tammy Abraham goal late on in the game: 2-1 Swansea.

West Ham vs Liverpool
I hate Liverpool and their self-entitled mob of annoying fans, who constantly bleat on about their rich history, so picking them to win is always a painful experience for me. But, West Ham is the kind of team that Liverpool will get a bucket-load of goals against if they score early (at least West Ham get thrashed, clouds and silver linings, comes to mind)! I think they do, meaning that I am plumping for 5-1 to Liverpool.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
Tottenham got Mourinhoed on Saturday: a tight game, which United nicked late-on, a trick that he has been able to pull his entire managerial career. I would feel sorry for them, if I didn’t hate them so much, more amusingly it is a metaphor for their time under Pochettino: very good most of the time, without quite being good enough to be Champions (that would be us at Chelsea, in case any Spurs fans forgot). They will win this game because Palace is abysmal and headed for the drop, though the distraction of Real Madrid, would lead me to predict an upset if they were playing anyone else: 3-1 Tottenham.

Manchester City vs Arsenal
Oh, Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal, I want you to win, (because let’s face it you’re not a title threat) but I have the feeling that you aren’t going to enjoy this game. When you combine your spineless mob with a good team, in form, there is normally only one outcome, remember: the 5-1 against Liverpool, the succession of 5-1’s against Bayern, the 6-0 against Chelsea (lol) and the 8-2 against Man United. Unless you get really lucky or some kind of wonderful miracle happens, then you are going to get absolutely shellacked: I feel bold, 7-2 City.

Everton vs Watford
I don’t think that anyone saw Everton being this bad: managerless, depressed, in the relegation zone and £150 million poorer, the return of Shrek hasn’t gone as planned. Yes, they have played some tough teams, but they really shouldn’t be this bad. Watford, on the other hand, is flying, though they have lost their last two matches, making this game tough to predict, because you have to believe that Everton will pick up eventually and are simply too good to go down. However, I think they will be in for another unhappy week with Watford winning 2-1.

Chelsea vs Manchester United
This was one of my favorite games last year, as Chelsea romped home to a 4-0 victory and Conte, managed to make Mourinho lose his cool. Unfortunately, we probably won’t manage something quite that spectacular this time around and you can be certain that Mourinho will play for a 1-0 at best, and wouldn’t turn down a point. If Kante is back and fit (he always scores against United), then I fancy us to win, however, if he is not fit, then Fabregas will almost certainly be overrun in midfield and it could be a long weekend for us. Still, I am an optimist: 3-1 to Chelsea, with Hazard man of the match.
