Mourinho has his man, and the Premier League is increasingly looking like a two-horse race (if one horse has three legs) because even with Sanchez, there is only one team that is going to win the league. Apart from that, Chelsea is ticking along in third, Spurs remain inconsistent and Liverpool can’t help but lose against ridiculous teams. Despite all those facts, here is how I see week 25 going down:

Swansea vs Arsenal
The Alexis Sanchez saga finally over, and Arsenal managed to bag themselves an Armenian, whose name I can’t spell and there is absolutely no question that the London team got a much worse deal: here’s to another 20 years of failure under Arsene Wenger. While, Swansea somehow managed to beat Liverpool on Monday, in one of the surprises of the entire season. As much as I would enjoy a victory for the South Wales club, you have to assume that Arsenal will manage to win it, with 2-1 being the most likely score.

Huddersfield vs Liverpool
Liverpool should be nicknamed Robin Hood, they take from the rich and give to the poor, with the charitable scousers, beating the all-conquering Man City, before somehow managing to lose to lowly Swansea. By that logic, they would lose to Huddersfield, but I don’t see it happening, which is why I am predicting a 3-1 Liverpool win.

West Ham vs Crystal Palace
A match between two former strugglers, who now look incredibly unlikely to go down, although West Ham will be cursing the outrageous £25 million pounds that Andy Caroll’s dodgy ankle has cost them. Still, this should be a reasonable game, with the most likely result being 2-2.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth
Chelsea dodged a massive bullet thanks to Andy Carroll’s brittle ankles and now seem to be on track to pay the same amount of money, for a striker who has scored about 20 times as many goals in the past two years. We also finally managed to score against Brighton, dishing out a 4-0 drubbing, with Hazard unquestionably the star of the show. We should maintain that form against Bournemouth and pick up the win, with 3-1 being the most likely result.

Newcastle vs Burnley
A drab game if ever I saw one, with two defensive units that are almost certain to cancel each other out. However, I have a slight suspicion that Burnley may just pinch a 1-0 win, although it could go either way, to be honest.

Tottenham vs Man United
A game that seems almost too big for a Wednesday night, although it is slightly poetic that Alexis Sanchez will make his debut, against his former club’s most hated rivals. It will be interesting to see how Mourinho approaches it, because, in every other big away game, he has parked a big fat London bus in front of his goal. I fancy Harry Kane to have a big game in this one and fire the North London club to a 3-1 victory. Although in the long run that might not be the best thing for Spurs, because United is very rich and Kane is Mourinho’s dream striker.

Southampton vs Brighton
It’s the seaside resort derby, although I would have given you long odds on Southampton being the team in the relegation zone, at the start of the season. A win for them would change that state of affairs, and no matter how poor Southampton have been this season, you certainly wouldn’t bet against it. However, I am going to plump for a 1-1 draw, on the basis that neither team wins very often.

Everton vs Leicester
Two teams that seem to be the very definition of mediocrity, with both going on tiny runs, before tanking and then going on tiny runs again. This makes it a game that could go either way, but I'm predicting Everton 2-1 because they are the home team.

Man City vs West Brom
Unfortunately, there is only one winner here and the real question is how many City will win by, rather than whether there will be an upset. I have been predicting a big City win for ages and they always disappoint, but I am going to go for it again and say 6-0 City.

Stoke vs Watford
A game of the mystical sackings, with Watford giving the man who was described as the most promising manager in Europe, two months ago, the chop, and Stoke sacking Mark Hughes, who has never been relegated. I fancy Stoke to win this one, 2-1 because they are at home, but who knows in this crazy world.
