Tuesday was fun: lowly Swansea humiliated Arsenal and I was actually looking forward to writing this article. Then Chelsea did their best Arsenal imitation and got absolutely fucking humiliated against Bournemouth at home. None of that really matters at the very top, because it's starting to look like the fourth place will be closer to twentieth. Apart from that Spurs beat United and Walcott proved that Wenger is an idiot. Here is how I see week 26 going down:

Burnley vs Manchester City
Burnley might be the most likely team to take points from City at the moment, just because unlike most Premier League sides, they will actually fight them all the way to the end. But in all probability, City will continue their serene march towards the title: 2-1 City.

Bournemouth vs Stoke
A few years back, when Mourinho was exploding, I went to about 10 Chelsea games and didn’t manage to see us win once: the low point of that sequence, was a 1-0 home loss to Bournemouth, a moment that I didn’t think would ever be repeated. How wrong I was, and the Cherries will be riding high after the 3-0 thrashing they gave us. If they play anything like that, they will easily have enough for Stoke: 3-1 Bournemouth.

Brighton vs West Ham
Brighton has been dragged back into the relegation scrap, and if Chelsea can beat you 4-0 at home, you are in quite a lot of trouble. But, West Ham isn’t great either, so I reckon that this game will be a bore draw: 1-1.

Leicester vs Swansea
On Tuesday I was looking forward to crowing about Swansea’s humiliation of Arsenal, and then Black Wednesday happened. They looked very good in that game and it wouldn’t be a shock if they pulled off another upset against Leicester, but on balance, you have to assume that the Foxes will have too much: 2-1 Leicester.

Man United vs Huddersfield
Man United slipped up against Tottenham, and still look incredibly poor against the very best teams in the league: they certainly won’t be winning the league and I see a Champions League exit in their future, whenever they play anyone good. They should beat Huddersfield though, with 3-0 being the most likely result.

West Brom vs Southampton
A bottom of the table clash between two Premier League stalwarts: you would have got long odds on either team being relegated at the start of the season, but I could see them both going now. Bad teams tend to draw these 6-pointers and that is what I see happening here: 1-1.

Arsenal vs Everton
Arsenal fans spent years talking about Chelsea buying the league, so it’s nice to see what a great job they are doing of buying 6th place. Aubameyang is a good player and will certainly go some way to replacing Sanchez, although I don’t really see how he fits into the team if anything he seems like an exact copy of Lacazette, whose pace is underutilized by Arsenal’s possession football. Who knows, maybe they will have a good team next year, but strikers normally take a long time to get used to the Premier League, so I think Everton will spring a surprise, with Theo Walcott scoring and showing Arsene how good he is: 2-1 Everton.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle
This will be a drab affair (like every Newcastle game is), and I certainly won’t be wasting my Sunday watching it: 1-0 Palace.

Liverpool vs Tottenham
This should be a really good game, with Chelsea’s loss making it look like it will be between us, Spurs and the Scousers for the two extra Champions League spots. Couple that with two teams that play good football and the fact that Liverpool can’t defend, and you have a recipe for goals and excitement. I fancy Spurs to win this for some reason, they’re annoyingly good, when they get on a run and Deli Ali looks like he is starting to hit form: 3-2 Spurs.

Watford vs Chelsea
Conte won’t be Chelsea manager at the end of the season, which is a shame because I really like him, but you can tell that he isn’t happy, and neither is the board. Everyone seems to think that Giroud is a great buy for us, but he didn’t really ever pull up any trees at Arsenal, apart from the occasional wonder goal. Watford is a good team and I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose, but I see life through Blue-tinted glasses so: 3-1 Chelsea.
