Since the Footy Show was given the green needle last week, attentions quickly turned to what quality programming would replace it and fill the vacant time slot for the remaining 18 weeks of its scheduled run.
Channel Nine executives have created a short list of five possibilities, some old and some new.
(i) 20 to 1: Sam’s most offensive Street Talk segments.
(ii) Bumps, Biffs and Brawlers 1 through to 18.
(iii) An 18 week stretch of timelapses depicting Sam Newman’s cosmetic enhancements. Episode 1: his nose.
(iv) Re-runs of the Tottie Goldsmith hosted show Sex Life.
(v) A colour graphic like SBS used to run overnight.
A Nine representative said "they can't be any worse than what was going to air" as he exiting the Channel Nine office this morning.
