So you don't know which way to go, smash the ball out of the park or slow and steady? This is for you, the aptly named Fence Sitter.

Sitting on the fence is a strategy used among the SportChamps community, however, be aware that you may need to pull some splinters out of your arse if it fails...

The payoff can be huge if you nail the first goal/try scorer in the first game. This injection of ChampCash will then bankroll the rest of your weekend and could lead you to glory.

Note: all AFL and NRL guides recommend placing your ChampCash on the first few games. You won't be able to rebuy if you have pending bets for the final game in the round and it's Saturday morning, for example.

The Strategy

Place 4 - 5 bets on the first goal/try scorer in the first game of the tournament. Use your remaining ChampCash to place a line or totals bet that you are confident in.
Repeat on select games throughout the tournament, raising your stake as you win
An Example Using AFL Round 6, 2017

1,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs/GWS First Goalscorer: T, Greene ($12) pays out 12,000 ChampCash
1,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs/GWS First Goalscorer: D, Smith ($23) pays out 23,000 ChampCash
1,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs/GWS First Goalscorer: J, Cameron ($9) pays out 9,000 ChampCash
1,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs/GWS First Goalscorer: J, Stringer ($12) pays out 12,000 ChampCash
1,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs/GWS First Goalscorer: L, Hunter ($34) pays out 34,000 ChampCash
5,000 ChampCash on Western Bulldogs at the line of +18.5 ($2.04) pays out 10,200 ChampCash
Look to reinvest using the same strategy and increase your stakesor re-buy and look to change strategies
Landing all those bets could have you sitting with a tidy sum of 100,200 ChampCash!

Summary

Following this strategy can catapult you up the leaderboard early or have you rebuying after one game. This is risk/reward, with the element of conservatism, that could see you finish in the top 40% on a consistent basis.
