Joachim Low admits banning his side from the “two P’s” was an error, and has vowed to “make the necessary changes” before their next major tournament.

The comment comes after the German National Football Team, who operated under a strict no sex or alcohol ban, were spectacularly bundled out of the World Cup by the hedonistic South Korea.

“What worked in 2014 no longer stacks up, so before the Euro’s (2020 European Cup), I’m thinking we get the players and partners together for a booze fuelled orgy” said the disappointed manager.

“Jurgy” as he’s affectionately known said that things have changed since the side lifted the cup four years earlier, and the strict behavioural rules that suited that campaign might’ve hamstrung the squad this time around.

“Guys like Boateng and Kroos were single back then, so it didn’t matter… and it was almost laughable to think Andre Schurrle would get one (a root)… so it worked well then”.

Low said it wasn’t so much the losses to Mexico and South Korea that have influenced his decision to lift the in tournament abstinence, but more stories of what his rivals were getting up to in the build up.

“I heard about Chicharito’s birthday party with the prostitutes and thought they’d be lacking zip in the opening game… but they’d obviously teamed well that night and it carried on into the match”.

For Low, he said he will let the early exit, their first in 80 years, sting for a while, but will quickly start looking ahead to the European Cup.

“It’ll be a fresh start. Training camp will be in Berghain” said the German coach.
